Recliner maker doubles High Point showroom space

HIGH POINT — Precision Reclining Chair Co., a manufacturer and distributor of motion and power motion upholstery, is moving to a larger showroom at High Point Market that is more than double the size of its previous showroom at 5,900 square feet of display space.

“Due to increased growth, we needed more space to show our leather sectionals and reclining leather sofa groups and our new category of massage chairs and big beefy performance fabric styles,” said CEO Michael Parasmo, adding, “Thanks to our loyal customer support and the Kathy Ireland Brand, which has increased our volume on retailers’ floors.”

The company said that its Kathy Ireland brand motion products do well with customers and offers a value price with strong margins. According to Parasmo, “The Kathy Ireland brand has moved up in ranking to No. 19 by License Global Magazine’s Top 150 Brands in the World.”

Parasmo emphasized that the company works with an experienced quality control team to manufacture safe and reliable motion products.

The new space will be at the Atrium on Main, 430 South Main St., second floor, space 407.
