The thing no one mentions in any of the videos is: How noisy is the thing? Then again, since fans moving at a steady rate produce a predictable soundwave, I suppose it would be easy enough to rig up a noise-canceling speaker.
They're pretty quiet, but you do hear a whirring when standing in front of them. Would not want to try to watch a movie in your living room, but they're not noticeable when in a large public space. I saw a lot of these at the ISA sign expo in Vegas a year ago.
