DeLonghi has launched an inverter driven air source heat pump aimed at the volume market below 10kW in capacity.

Called KI, the 9kW Inverter unit provides an output temperature of 55 deg C in ambient temperatures as low as -20 deg C, while operation noise is rated at 50dba at 1m. Lg Heatpump

It features DeLonghi’s Inclusive Control System which also controls solar thermal and heating zones within a property, as well as remote weather sensor and in-built circulation pump with DHW prioritisation control.

Garry Broadbent, director at DeLonghi UK partner and service provider ICS Heat Pumps, says: “We have been developing this new KI unit for over 12 months to fulfil market demand in the UK for a high specification, cost efficient inverter driven product.

Available from January, it will be followed by a 6kW KI unit later in the year
