As she tried out an Instagram-famous LED light mask on Jan. 18, Kristin Bell got a surprise visitor. The Good Place star's husband Dax Shepard intruded on her night of self-care to hilarious results.
Kristen was wearing a Déesse Pro LED Mask ($2,300) made by esthetician Shani Darden. The light-up LED mask has been seen gracing (and saving) the complexions of celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian and Jessica Alba. LED Beauty Mask
According to Shani's website, the Déesse Mask sends out low-power rays in different colors that zap problem areas like fine lines, wrinkles, and acne. Along with all that, the mask slightly resembles something you'd seen on Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street. But hey, anything for results, right?
In a video posted to Instagram, Dax entered Kristen's masking session and asked his wife of four years, "Will you please tell people this is real? This is not a bit to scare the sh*t out of me."
"I'm doing a treatment," she responded. His reply? "Holy f*ck."
While Dax appeared skeptical, we totally approve of Kristen's dedication to skincare rituals. Keep doing you, Kristen!
