A messy play party day for kids is coming up, taking place at the Ikea superstore to the south of Edinburgh.
Children can muck about in sand, water, dough and foam in special play areas at the one-off event on Friday, September 27.
It's being run by Make Mess Matter, who organise messy play days for children's parties around Scotland.
The event is free for everyone with an Ikea family card, and £5 for those who don't.
They can provide waterproof aprons and a wash bowl, but both kids and parents will probably need a change of clothes.
There's no need to pre-book and the event starts at 2pm.
Make Mess Matter say: "All children are provided with full sleeve waterproof aprons and under supervision of their accompanying adult are able to enjoy all manner of messy matter in a controlled and safe environment.
Matter can include: Sand, Water, Dough, Foam, Bubbles, Chalk, Paint, edible items
"All designed to enhance your child's creative learning experience."
