The CWM2 machine is equipped for protected twist double wrapped products.
Marcus Rustler, CEO, Theegarten Pactec, told ConfectioneryNews, the advantage of the protected twist wrappers are they are sealed hermetically which is good for humid markets because it better protects confectionery products.
“This exhibition has developed nicely for our company. The Middle East and surrounding markets have gained more importance for us in the last decade. Gulfood Manufacturing is the perfect place for us to meet our clients and show them what is new in our industry,” he said.
“The CWM2 is a multi-style machine for packaging chocolate articles, the concept is to put the customer into the position of being able to quickly changeover between different chocolate articles and wrapping styles such as double twist, fold wrap, bunch wrap, fold twist, and changeover times are very fast.”
Rustler said the infeed belt of the machine is automated with a synchronization system to line the product up, followed by the wrapping process and folding.
“The entire machine is controlled by an HMI (Human Machine Interface) system. All Theegarten machines are equipped with this. The idea is to have a common platform for operators, which operate multiple types of machines with the same look and feel," he added.
“Everything can be controlled from this panel, from speed, cut off link of the material, print, and analytics, such as downtime. It will also tell you where cleaning has to be done.”
Gulfood Manufacturing took place at Dubai World Trade Centre from November 7-9.
