Ubeco has announced that its Profil roll form design software is available for 64-bit computers. According to the manufacturer, very large projects with many rolls are no longer a problem anymore, and the waiting time has been decreased to a fraction.

The finite element simulation of the roll forming process also has been accelerated by automatic refining at critical points like in the bending zones and at the band edges. Thus, a smaller count can be preset as a basic setting. This lowers the simulation time, especially if large line segments exist that need less meshing resolution. Gutter Roll Forming Machine
